Endureed’s Kilimanjaro profile crowns the Memphis Zoo’s Zambezi River Hippo Camp, a four-acre reimagining of Africa’s Zambezi River Valley built to bring visitors nose to nose with hippos and Nile crocodiles. The profile runs throughout the exhibit, most prominently atop the camp’s 76-foot, two-story entrance building, where deep, layered courses of engineered thatch wrap a structure hand-painted with bold African tribal patterns in ochre, teal and deep red.
