🪚 Our warehouse team has been working tirelessly to assemble a stunning structure for this year`s IAAPA trade show. Here`s a sneak peek at some bits and pieces.

Pictures of the completed build will have to wait for the show, as we`re disassembling the structure for shipping to Orlando. If you`d like to see the full scale of our work in person, swing by booth 7240!

The structure will spotlight our Kilimanjaro thatch; it`s a breathtaking build, and we`re excited to share it with you!

Project Spotlight: Nashville Zoo, Nashville, TN 🦒

Located a few miles outside the picturesque downtown streets of Music City, the Nashville Zoo is an ecosystem where animals from Sumatran Tigers to Axolotls reside. The zoo originally opened its doors in 1991 in Joelton, TN, before moving to the 215-year-old Grassmere property in the mid-1990s.

The three-decade-old zoo showcases a magnificent display of our Kilimanjaro thatch, a color and style inspired by the traditional, weathered African cape reed roof commonly found in Tanzania.

Dean Violetta, architect behind the thatch installation: "The design is entirely relative to the people. I listen to the animal, horticulture, and visitor engagement departments to flesh out everyone’s wants and needs. It’s the architect’s job to balance all of those—to make sure you get an excellent product in the end."

Project Spotlight: Guanabanas Restaurant & Bar, Jupiter, FL ☀️

A quick detour off Highway A1A near Jupiter Harbor will lead you to Guanabanas. Originally opened as a sandwich shop in 2004, this spot is renowned for its tropical look, live reggae/Latin music, and proximity to the Atlantic Ocean.

This coastal destination features Endureed Engineered Thatch, a product that owner Chad Van Boven says was a much-needed addition.

"We had to replace the (natural thatch) roof every 2-3 years... the rain would wear out the corners, bring bugs... raccoons would also dig holes in the thatch."

We had the opportunity to chat with the owner, who discussed the unique look and feel of Guanabanas -- and how Endureed`s thatch contributes to it.
